Brooke Desmond

Brooke had never fancied herself a farmer before she and her husband stumbled into being stewards of family land in Ipswich. On her journey to learning how to farm (and discovering if it suits her), she started helping out at Iron Ox. She fell in love with farming and the farming community. She has aspirations to build a better connection between people and farms.

When she’s not farming or dreaming up farm schemes, she runs a busy house full to the brim with active and creative people. She spends as much time as possible outside (especially by the water or in the woods), loves making things, and enjoys a good giggle.
