E Brown
E began their work in agriculture in 2014 as a horticulture and greenhouse management student at Essex Aggie. They quickly fell in love with organic agriculture and food as a tool for social justice and pursued this interest at a number of food access based non-profits on the North Shore, including The Food Project, Wellspring House, and as a FoodCorps service member leading the school and community garden programming at Backyard Growers. During Eβs time in these positions they began meeting the network of small organic farmers in the Cape Ann area and started picking up part time work at Cedar Rock Gardens, Alprilla Farm, and of course at Iron Ox Farm before transitioning to full time farm work with the crew here!
When E isnβt on the farm they can be found lounging in the sun, cooking and playing music with friends, or block printing patches and tapestries for their art endeavor Crowsfell.
